Sometimes you find something good and want to share it with the world, but it doesn’t fit neatly into a category. So, here is “Stuff” the section where I’ll try to organization recommendations for things that I find out there in the world. I love all things from video games to the 90’s and 80’s stuff. I’ve also found what worked and didn’t work as a parent and would like to share that to parents as well. I am also an avid reader and a section will be dedicated to all the literature that I believe should be spread far and wide.

Before any trip—whether it’s a road trip, a flight, or a train ride—thinking through the right electronics and gadgets can make the experience smoother and far more enjoyable. These aren’t about overpacking tech, but about choosing tools that quietly support the journey instead of distracting from it. A reliable power bank, for example, becomes essential when outlets are scarce and directions, tickets, and photos all live on your phone. Noise-canceling headphones can turn long stretches of travel into moments of calm, helping you rest, focus, or simply tune out the surrounding chaos.
For longer trips, small conveniences make a big difference. Compact chargers, multi-cable adapters, and travel-friendly power strips help keep everything organized and ready to go. If you’re capturing memories, lightweight cameras or simple point-and-shoots offer a break from phone screens while still preserving moments in a more intentional way. Tablets or e-readers also strike a nice balance, giving you entertainment without the bulk of a laptop.
Sharing these gadgets within a group or family makes travel feel more connected and less stressful. One person’s charger, another’s headphones, or a shared hotspot can save time and reduce frustration. Preparing these essentials ahead of time creates space to be present during the journey. When the tech is handled thoughtfully, it fades into the background—allowing the focus to stay where it belongs: on the experience, the movement, and the memories being made along the way.
